(Step 1: Log in to your CareLinx account and go to your profile)

If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see a section called 'My Active Jobs'. Click on 'MANAGE'. 

(Step 2: Click on 'START NEW TIMESHEET')

(Step 3: Add shift dates/hours)

Your clock-ins and clock-outs are integrated with your timesheet. You can prefill your timesheet using the clock-in clock-out times using the 'Auto-create shifts' option:

a) Select 'Clocks-ins and Clock-outs' from the drop down menu.

b)  If your hours are accurate, you can click 'Next' to move on to the next step.
You can adjust your Clock-in and Clock-out times by clicking 'Edit'. 

c) For shifts you did not clock in/out for, you can manually add shifts. use this section to click on the days you worked. Then select the time you started/ended your shifts.

If the hours exceed certain thresholds, we will ask you if you want us to auto-calculate your overtime. Most caregivers will select Auto-calculate unless you have specific arrangements with your employer. 

Tip 💡: Based on the state you are working in, this will tell you whether the hours worked that week qualify you for overtime based on the state labor laws. 

d) If you have expenses check the box next to 'I have expenses to reimburse'. If you would like step by step instructions on how to submit expenses, click here

Once you have added your shifts, click 'STEP 2: ADD NOTES'.

(Step 4: Add Shift Notes)

This is an important section used to notify the family of any observations you made while you were on shift. Part of being a great caregiver is being aware of anything unusual and notifying the appropriate people. You can add a shift note to each day you worked. Once you have added all appropriate notes, click 'STEP 3: REVIEW'. 

(Step 5: Review Timesheet)

You may now review your timesheet and make sure that everything is accurate. If you need to make any changes you can click 'BACK TO NOTES". If everything looks accurate, click 'SUBMIT TIMESHEET'. 

Tip 💡: You can also click 'SAVE CHANGES' and come back to it at a later time. Remember that in order to get paid, you need to submit a timesheet. 

(Step 6: Confirm Submission)

You will be asked one more time to confirm. Click 'SUBMIT'.

Reminder: The family has 2 days to approve the timesheet and then it may take 2-4* business days for the funds to appear in your bank account. 

*Note that if your employer uses a bank account to pay, it may take a few days longer
