Completing your background check is a very important step to getting hired as a caregiver.
Tip 💡: You can only be hired once you pass a background check!
Step 1: Go to your profile and click the button that says "BACKGROUND CHECK"
Step 2: On the Background Check page, click 'START CHECK NOW'

Step 3: Read and sign the disclosure
Once you have read and electronically signed this page, you will click 'NEXT'.
Step 4: Read and sign the Release
Once you have read and electronically signed this page, you will click 'NEXT'.

Step 5: Personal Info
We will need some personal information to have your background check processed. Make sure you type your information exactly how it appears in your legal records.
**All your private information is securely transmitted to Backgrounds Online and isn't used for any marketing purposes**
Once you have filled in all of the information click 'NEXT'.
Step 6: Method of Payment
Background checks through CareLinx will cost $20. Normally a background check would cost you around $40. The transaction is secured through SSL encryption. Once you have filled in your credit or debit card information click 'PAY $20.00'.
Congratulations! You have submitted your background check. On average it will take 3-7 days to process. The time it takes varies depending on the county and may take longer than 7 days.
