If the family has communicated that they want to hire you, the next step is for them to officially hire you on CareLinx. 

In order to be paid for your work, you must be hired on the CareLinx platform. You will get an email and/or message on the CareLinx app when you have been officially hired by the family.

Please note that being officially hired ensures that accurate payroll is kept for the hours you work, and allows both you and the family to keep track of when you are requesting payment via your timesheets.

This helps ensure you are paid in a timely manner. All work on the CareLinx platform is paid via Direct Deposit to ensure accurate history is kept of your earned wages and hours worked.

Accepting payment from a family without being officially hired on platform may be grounds for account suspension, but more importantly it means you will not be eligible for any benefits/safe guards associated with being officially hired.

Politely decline any work prior to being officially hired by the family, as CareLinx would not be able to help you get paid for previous work.

They do that by going to your profile and click Hire.

Once you are officially hired, you will receive an email and/or in-app message confirming the hiring information.

At that time, you will get access to your timesheet and will be able to submit invoices to the family for your completed work. See the article below for more information.
