Comprehensive profiles help assure families that you are the right choice for their loved on when looking for home care.

Taking the extra time to set up your profile for success will lead to a fruitful career on CareLinx.

A background check is required and must be passed before being hired by any of our families on CareLinx. If you still need to complete your background check, please refer to the bottom of this document.

Here is an example of how comprehensive your profile should be:

It is a great way to compare to other caregivers in your area and what families will be looking for!

Step 1: Upload a professional photo

Upload a clear, professional photograph of yourself.

Select Edit photo on your profile.

(Your image must be a jpg, gif, or png file and should be less than 20MB.)

The guideline below will help you understand what a good professional picture consists of.

Step 2: Add your rate and job preferences

Add your rate by selecting Edit next to $0.00/hr.

Keep in mind the average rates of caregivers in your area, given your years of experience, education, and certifications.

You can also add an interval you are willing to accept for an hourly rate.

You can also add your preferred travel distance.



Step 3: Introduce yourself

Select Edit under About me.

Add your rate and write a brief introduction about yourself - think of this as your "elevator pitch," you want to make a great first impression!

Step 4: Add your work experience, education, skills, and certifications.


Under Experience & Education, you can add your current certifications, education, work experience and skills.

If you have any certifications documents that can provide verification, please upload the into My Documents, by clicking See all documents on your profile.

Please make sure these are CURRENT documents, otherwise you will not be verified for the certification.


Step 5: Add your services offered, areas of expertise, and job preferences

This section will detail what your job preferences are in terms of services offered and areas of expertise.

Communicating this clearly with families before being hired is effective for a great working relationship.



Step 6: Add languages that you can communicate comfortably

Please select the languages you are comfortable and fluent in, so families know if you are a good fit for their loved one.

Step 7: Personalize your background photo

You can select a background photo for your CareLinx profile by clicking the pencil icon in the upper right corner.
